At the Syamarpan Foundation, we are driven by the profound Sanskrit-inspired slogan, "मूलं प्रति दत्त्वा" (Mūlaṁ Prati Dattvā) , which translates to "giving back to the roots." Rooted in this timeless wisdom, our foundation is dedicated to the noble endeavor of returning to the essence of our existence and offering gratitude to the elements that sustain life.
The name "Syamarpan" derives its significance from the Sanskrit words "syama" and "arpan." "Syama," meaning the dark blue hue, symbolizes the divine presence of Lord Krishna or the cosmic energy that permeates the universe. It represents the interconnectedness of all beings and the sacredness of nature's elements—water, earth, air, and sky—all of which manifest in shades of blue.
Our foundation is inspired by the ancient Hindu tradition of "Daridra Narayan," which embodies the belief in serving the divine in the form of the less fortunate. By extending our compassion and support to those in need, we acknowledge the divine essence within each individual and honor the interconnectedness of all life.
As human beings, we are intrinsically linked to the elements of nature. Our bodies are composed of 60% water, and upon our passing, we return to the earth, merging with the elements from which we originated. Recognizing this profound connection, the Syamarpan Foundation is committed to nurturing the roots of existence by promoting environmental sustainability, conservation, and stewardship.
If you share our vision and would like to contribute to our cause, we welcome your support. Whether through donations, volunteering opportunities, or partnering with us on initiatives, there are many ways to get involved. Please feel free to get in touch with us to explore how you can make a meaningful impact and join us on our journey of compassion, gratitude, and stewardship as we give back to the roots that sustain us all.
